Metaphysical meaning of Azbuk (mbd)
Azbuk, az'-buk (Heb.)--strong devastation; mighty desolation.

Father of Nehemiah, ruler of half the district of Beth-zur (Neh. 3:16).

Meta. Strong denial of error (strong devastation, mighty desolation). Error, in thought and deed, must be dissolved by denial, that the consciousness and the organism may be built up in Truth. (Azbuk was the father of Nehemiah, who helped to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem after the return from the Babylonian captivity.)
