Metaphysical meaning of Shomer (mbd)
Shomer, sho'-mer (Heb.)--watchman; guard; keeper.

a Parent of Jehozabad, one of the two servants of King Joash of Judah who conspired against the king and killed him (II Kings 12:21). This person is called Shimrith in II Chronicles 24:26); b Son of Heber, who was a grandson of Asher, according to I Chronicles 7:32. In I Chronicles 7:34 he is called Shemer.
