Metaphysical meaning of Jerimoth (mbd)
Jerimoth, jer'-i-moth (Heb.)--elevations; heights; exaltations; terror of death; rejection of death.

The name of several prominent Israelites, some of the tribe of Benjamin, some Levites, and one a son of David, though not named in the general list of his sons (I Chron. 7:7; 12:5; 24:30; 25:4; II Chron. 11:18; 31:13).

Meta. High thoughts in the true religious consciousness of man--thoughts of faith and love (descendants of Benjamin and Levi) centered in the recognition of God as life, omnipresent and abiding in all its fullness. Thus the error idea of death is put away (rejection of death).
