Metaphysical meaning of Jehoaddah (mbd)
Jehoaddah (A. V., Jehoadah), je-ho'ad-dah (Heb.)--whom Jehovah adorns; whom Jah makes eternal; whom Jehovah fully develops; beautifying of Jah; Jehovah reveals; testimonial of Jehovah.

Son of Ahaz and father of Alemeth, a descendant of Saul (I Chron. 8:36). In I Chronicles 9:42 he is called Jarah.

Meta. The Spirit of Christ taking away obscurity and revealing Truth more clearly to our consciousness (Jehovah reveals). Thus error is put away, the Christ within us testifies to the new light that we have received (testimonial of Jehovah), and our adornment becomes not the outer adornment of the naturalman but the inner grace and beauty of holiness and Truth (whom Jehovah adorns) that works out into the outer consciousness and life, transforming the whole being (whom Jehovah fully develops). "In that day will Jehovah of hosts become a crown of glory, and a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people" (Isa. 28:5). (See JARAH.)
